[内容摘要]本文首先指出现有方法存在的问题，然后论证饭店客房数的规划依据是饭店业的利润最大化；以此为基础，本文建立起饭店业利润规模函数，通过分析饭店利润最大化的一阶条件，最终得出一种有效的客房数规划方法。本文的结论是：规划的客房数应该使得需求量大于规划床位数的天数在总天数中所占的比例等于饭店的闲置机会比。

Seasonal Demand and the Method of Planning for Room Number
Abstract: This paper firstly points out the problem of current methods, and then proves that the principle of planning for hotel’s room number is maximizing the hotel’s profits. Based on the principle, the author works out the hotel’s profit-scale function.
